Inna and Lyme
Our story began on a frosty February day in 2012 ...
I took the child from the kindergarten, and we went sledding from the hill. There we saw a rather large dog that ran among the children and tried to play with them. Since there was not a single adult on the hill, it became clear that she was homeless. In those days, frosts reached -25 degrees at night and, of course, the dog felt sorry. We never drove down the hill, brought her home and fed her.
The dog happily ran to us, without even thinking, went into the porch, the vestibule and, finally, into the apartment - as if she had known us for a long time.
At that time, her husband had one big dog at work, which guarded the territory and was contented: they bought cereals, bones, equipped a booth and an aviary. And we decided that the husband and this dog will take to work.
After eating, the dog fell asleep right on the carpet in the hallway. But when her husband came, she growled and did not let him in, from which we concluded that she was offended by men. After all, on her paws she had already healed, but rather deep wounds, on which the fur no longer grew.
We decided that she would stay with us for a couple of weeks until she got used to it, and then her husband would take her to work. We did not plan to leave the dog with us, as we already had a cat, and we lived in a rented apartment.
On the first morning, the husband took the dog for a walk, and she ran away from him along with the leash. For about 30 minutes he chased her around the district, but she did not come to him. He returned home without her. I was so upset that I quickly got dressed and ran to look for the runaway in hot pursuit.I asked everyone I met, and, to my happiness, the girl walking towards said she saw a dog with a leash under the balcony of the neighboring house.
I found her about 2 kilometers from our house, and as soon as I called, she immediately ran in, started jumping, licking her face ... In general, we were both happy to find each other again. It turns out that I found her twice.
Today we cannot imagine life without our beloved girl. The child kisses her every day, strokes, hugs, and when we go on vacation, every day she looks at her photos.
We wish each family to find such a faithful, devoted, affectionate friend. With the advent of the dog in our house smiles, happiness and laughter became much more.
The photos were taken by Tatyana Prokopchik specially for the project “Two legs, four paws, one heart”.
